After 55 years of brand independence, Cosmos Holidays was being absorbed into the Monarch brand. With £18m+ of bookings at risk from the transition, Monarch wanted to bring Cosmos customers on the journey and inspire them to book with Monarch airlines.
We had to use data cleverly, providing personalised information quickly to drive familiarity and consideration.
This led us to a UK travel industry first – personalised video. Integrating individual customer information with relevant, eye-catching holiday imagery, we made our message engaging and impossible to ignore.
Relevance came from their previous departure airport and destination, whilst inspiration came from with three other holiday option recommendations (selected through behavioural propensities), complete with their own personal weather forecast.
Lots of variable information was included seamlessly, from different name lengths to a host of destinations.
